Infrared Photography
Infrared photography is a fascinating and unique way of capturing the world around us. By using a special filter in conjunction with a camera or modifying a traditional camera, I can see beyond the visible spectrum and reveal hidden details in my images. Infrared photography creates stunning, surreal images that can transform landscapes, architecture, and even portraits into ethereal scenes. The world of infrared photography opens up a whole new realm of creative possibilities.

Taken at a local park. Note the difference in colour provided by infra red filters. By using a filter that is close to "normal" light, some of the original colour still shines through, while still having an "otherly" quality to the shot.

A local beaty spot, Briton Ferry Reservoir. An image taken with a standard DSLR camera with an infrared filter and long exposure. I love combining techniques and the result do not disappoint.

Another infrared image Briton Ferry Reservoir but this time in black and white. This image is truly special.

A well know Welsh tourist destination, Tenby. I just love the effect infrared gives to this images. The colours are stunning
